I picked up an older Schwinn Loop for ma wife 7 years ago, while it has the old style breaks on the front tire and that weird hub brake on the rear tire, it does have the height extendable handlebars that the new Loop lacks. I will get her Loop professionally tuned and restored which will prolly be less than a brand new Loop, she has expressed she DOES want to keep her loop as it is the most comfortable bike she has ever owned especially since I happily upgraded her seat with a wider female version of the seat I buy for my bikes.

I appreciate the steel frame as I end up carrying all kinds of things on the back; shopping, work tools, kids... We got the bike second hand, ride pretty rough, do minimal maintenance & it still seems to be holding together with no major faults Would like a bigger gear to really get somewhere, but hey¿? It's a cruizy ride

Looking for a folding bike carry bag that doubles as a backpack or pannier. Purchased a Schwinn Loop and have this huge bag to carry around. Would be great if it magically doubled as a pannier.

Wish I would have gotten a lighter weight, easier to fold bike! It’s a few pounds too heavy for me! I’m 65, and it’s not easy to fold. It’s ray to unfold but not fold, and is wobbly when one 1st starts riding.

The Schwinn has been designed so that the pedals don’t move when the wheels go backward, making it not only possible to roll, but very easy. Portability is important to a lot of commuters who are work in high rise buildings or live in smaller homes where they might not have a lot of storage space for their bikes.

i went toe a bike shopon to have 20 inc 1.95 tires put on.the front tire is slitley hitting the front fender.what can i do.

Yes agree, the Schwinn I think is designed to fold and stick in your closet as a space saver, which is nice, but it is heavy and awkward when folded, yes, being able to roll it when it is folded would have been a big plus, but it is not designed to do that. The storage bag they send u, forget about it, major Pia to get the bike in. That said, it does fit in your small car, it is reasonably priced, solidly made and a very decent ride. But, if you are going to be carrying your folding bike around a lot, pick a different one. The lighter the better, but of course, that makes em much more expensive.
