Make sure the bike can handle your weight.
Most folding bikes will not. Get a low step easier on off. Try to keep the weight of the bike down because you will need to lift it on occasion. I like the weight to be around 50lbs. You do not need the most powerful Ebike just make sure it can climb your hill.

You can add electric assistance to any standard Brompton.
Look up Nano-Brompton, or Cytronex. These kits can be self-fitted, or added by any competent bike shop.

I have one of these and with less than 1000 miles on it the bike just turns off on hills which is the entire reason I got it. Blix has terrible support with things like it could be the controller or maybe the motor got overheated. There best advice was since I had enjoyed the bike for 3 years I should just buy a new bike! I will it just won’t be a BLIX.
