In reply to Peter Gilbert. The Vello bike+ comes with a front scoop fitted to the frame as an extra which accepts plenty of luggage without it affecting the steering at all I find it very acceptable.

I have ridden one in London. It was smooth on a short, flat test route. However I’ve actually bought a Brompton Electric as it is quite a bit smaller when folded, and has six gears making it more effective on hills (its battery has coped with a 500-600 metre climb). It also seemed more practical in everyday use with mudguards, good lights, and easily released 20 litre front luggage. I had my dealer fit the rack at extra cost for additional luggage options.

I emailed them and got a reply. They are in the process of setting up distribution in the states but ordering online is the only option to date, jan 2019. They do ship to the states. My main concern about the bike is the power and how long it will last. 250w isn’t much and I’m concerned about hills. I want to see some real people reviews first.

I don’t think these bikes are real there are a lot of fake kickstarters and I think this is a fantasy. It’s crazy people are getting away with this.
